Bennington's Apple Barn to host inaugural Blueberry Festival BENNINGTON, V.T. (NEWS10) -- The Apple Barn and Country Bake Shop will be presenting their first annual Blueberry Festival. The event is scheduled for July 29. Get the latest news, weather, sports and entertainment delivered right to your inbox! The festival will feature blueberry picking, live music, food trucks, vendors, family activities, and a plethora of blueberry goods. The event will run from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Apple Barn is located at 604 US Route 7 S in Bennington. The festival is free to attend and open to the public.

Update on Rail Trail Bridge ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- According to the Albany County Executive's Office, initial removal of the Rail Trail Bridge decking began on Wednesday, with demolition to continue through the rest of the week. Starting on Monday, road work on New Scotland Road (SR 85) underneath the bridge will continue, and as soon as it concludes, one-lane traffic will reopen on SR 85E from 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. on weekdays. According to the Albany County Executive's Office, it is expected the temporary bridge will be up and functioning before the original October 31 estimated date.At that time, both lanes on State Route 85 will open. Regarding the bridge buckling on July 12, there is no new information at this time.

LOUIS - Despite a series of pop-up storms and sporadic rainfall this month, much of Missouri continues to deal with drought conditions. According to the U.S. Drought Monitor, around 78% of the state is considered to be in a moderate, severe or extreme drought stage. Roughly another 17% is considered to be abnormally dry. Archdiocese of St. Louis to host gun violence summit SHREWSBURY, Mo. -- The Archdiocese of St. Louis is holding a conference on Saturday, July 29 at 9 a.m. to discuss gun violence. The one-day summit will be held at the Cardinal Rigali Center in Shrewsbury, Missouri.The Archdiocese said in a press release, “Thoughts and prayers are not enough. Body of missing man from Mexico recovered from Colorado River in Eagle County Eagle County searchers have recovered the body of a missing 32-year-old man from Mexico who was rafting on the Colorado River and swept away.Searchers found the body of a man identified by the Eagle County Coroner as Isaac Montano Rivera, from Chihuahua, Mexico, near Lyons Gulch, north of Dotsero, Eagle County Sheriff officials announced Thursday in a news release.Rivera went missing Sunday afternoon after an accident along the river near the Cottonwood Boat Ramp. A group of people was trying to save rafters who’d fallen into the river when rescuers initially reached the scene. One man was pulled from the water, resuscitated, and transferred to a hospital. But Rivera could not be found.Since Sunday, searchers have used boats and kayaks, and dog teams looking along the banks of the river. 6th bus carrying migrants from Texas arrives in Los Angeles A sixth bus from Texas carrying asylum seekers arrived in Los Angeles Thursday morning, organizers said.The bus carrying 36 migrants coming from Brownsville, Texas arrived at Union Station around 8:50 a.m., according to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles.Thirteen children were among the group who had come from Honduras, Mexico, Peru and Venezuela.The L.A.
